Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Singh Campus Director
Prof. (Dr.) Vikas Singh is Campus Director at CGC, Landran, Mohali. The
campus has more than 13000 students and over 700 faculty members. It has
seven colleges including two engineering colleges, a management
college, a pharmacy and bio-technology college, a college of hotel
management, and a college of education. Earlier, he was Director General
at Trident Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad. He has over 21 years of
experience in Academics, Industry and Administration.
Dr. Singh is ME in Mechanical from DCE, Delhi and Ph.D. in “Supply Chain Management” from CCS University. He has done MBA and holds bachelor degrees in Engineering and Law.
He started his career as Quality Engineer in a Goenka Group company in 1994 and then joined academics as Lecturer in INMENTEC. In 1997, he joined I.T.S Group of Institutions, where he worked for 13 years in different capacities, including PGDM Chairman, founder dean at I.T.S Engineering College, founder dean at I.T.S Institute of Management. He is a visiting faculty at IMT, Ghaziabad and an external examiner for M.E. at Delhi Technological University. He has been a member of Syllabus Development Committee of U.P. Technical University, Lucknow and Ch. Charan Singh University, Meerut.
Dr. Singh has been a member of Editorial Board of two national journals of repute namely; Synergy and Pranjana and several compendiums. He has published a book on Supply Chain Management for SMEs. His publications have appeared in top rated national academic journals.
Dr. Singh has been honoured with “Life Time Achievement Award for Education Excellence” by IEDRA.
Dr. Singh is Life-Member of Indian Society for Training & Development (ISTD) and former Chairman of ISTD Greater Noida Chapter. He is Jt. Secratary and Executive Council member of GMA. He is Life-Member of AIMA, IIIE and ISME.
Dr. Singh has conducted a series of MDPs & FDPs. He has undertaken consultancy projects for various organizations. He is an avid speaker on various topics.

His aim from the very beginning of his career is to fetch some industrial experience & after that to enter into academics so initially he joined Igate Patni Computers, worked there for two years & then from last four years he is in teaching. He is very passionate about teaching but at the same time he feels that the contribution of entrepreneur in the society cannot be denied that’s why from last two years he is an active member of Entrepreneurship Cell, Landran where he has successfully conducted Business plan competition at national level.
